Do you guys remember, when you’d talk to the person you like on the phone for the first time? “Come on, let’s talk on the phone!” they’d say and you’d just be like “okay” but inside you were really like “eh, it’s gonna be awkward and they won’t like me anymore.” But then, when you see your phone light up with their name, you get all nervous but excited at the same time. Then you answer greeting them in a shy but nice tone and they greet you back and it’d be silent and awkward for a while until someone says something that excites you or you’d like to talk about too. And then bam, from there on, you’d talk for hours on the phone, the heck, maybe even the whole day you’ll talk to them and you’d never get tired of hearing their voice. Finally, when you hear them say “I have to go” you get really sad because you just wanted to talk to them forever and then when they say “don’t worry, there’s always tomorrow” you’re lightweight sad but happy that they want to talk to you more and more on the phone. And then, when you hang up, you start to smile and just think about that person the whole day or a week or maybe even longer and you’d get excited the next time you talk to them on the phone, or in general. Yeah, do you guys remember?
